TV - SMALLVILLE

The latest episode was heads above the previous episodes this season. Instead of bland "filler" stories showcasing Lana or Lois in scantily clad clothing with no story plot whatsoever, there was an actual story attached to this one.

The past 6 episodes had special guest star James Marsters, who we all know from previous roles in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" as well as roles on "Angel". He played a form of Artificial Intelligence from Krypton that was created by ZOD to cause Clark to destroy his new fortress of solitude and therefore bring the almighty ZOD back into our world, where he would create a new Krypton out of the ashes, destroying humanity. In the end Clark stopped his fortress from crumbling and said "NO". :) I was a little bummed to see James Marsters leave this cast, as it has been a bit bland of late, and needed a shot in the arm so to speak. Well, he gave us that shot, as he played his role of "Dr. Fine" quite well, and I was glad to see him again.

Clark and Lex have both fallen into the "I know we aren't best friends anymore" blah that they seem to be sucked into. Lana seems to dissapear so conveniently from the show every time that Lois needs to be given the spotlight, as I believe that either they are starting to phase out Lana and will be ready by the end of this season to let Lois really start to come into her role. If you want my "Prediction" as I have no facts or rumors to back this up...I believe that Lex will kill Lana at either the end of this season, or the end of the next one, creating a whole new storyarc with more new faces to breath fresh life into Smallville. Kristin Kreuk was a huge hit when this show started, and although I think she plays her role well, for what dialogue and situations give her, I think she's starting to get very bored with this role, as are most of the cast.

One of the shining stars who really suprised me this season was Chloe Sullivan, played by Allison Mack. She now knows of Clarks secret, and Clark finally opened up to her about being from Krypton, as well as all his super powers. Not only does this give her character more room to grow and share the spotlight with Clark, but it also allows her to have a more "intimate" for lack of a better word "role" with Clark. She is the solution for Clark's troubles more often than not, which has been very nice to see. I'm glad she wasn't a character that they phased out, as she lends one of the only "creditable" roles this season as Smallville starts actually turning into Superman.

A highlight of this episode, was the teaser trailer for the new Superman Returns movie that is coming to theatres somtime in 2006. From the trailer (and who knows they might just have a great editing team) I really think they might have this "Comic to movie" thing down to an art. That is...after the amazing "Batman Begins" graced the silver screen. All in all I'm excited to see what happens, and that's all I can ask of entertainment.

Smallville for the most part is enjoyable. Even the episodes that are very "URGH" can still be entertaining because I've come to love these characters over the seasons. They don't need to Reinvent the wheel, as much as they need to Reinvent the roles. This season Clark and Lex are supposed to be mortal enemies. Well, they've been ticked off at one another, but in no ways are they Mortal enemies.(Que dark and dismal music) I want to see Lex Luther do something attrocious, something that fills the nose with a foul stench and would give Clark a reason to actually become the Superman that we all know he should be.

Yes I'll keep watching faithfully, as this was the first Television show to create the need for me to be stuck same bat time same bat channel to the boob tube for 1 hour at a time. Yes, I have hope for the series to get "better". I guess We'll just have to wait and see.

- ART -

Russell Crowe - by my wife :)

To say that my wife is talented is an understatement. What most don't realize however is that she does NOT understand this fact. She can draw, cross stitch, sow, paint, cook, write, and much much more. The list of her talents goes on and on.

Soon hopefully I will be able to show you a completed cross stitch that she is currently trying to finish...it will be fun to unveil.

In this drawing the one thing that really pops out in my mind are his eyes. Russell Crowe has eyes that are shared only by a select few Benjamin Mckenzie. This picture was drawn from the soundtrack cover to the emotional movie Gladiator. Many since have tried to capture the magic that made that movie so heartfelt and bittersweet, but none have succeeded.

I finally decided to take the time to use my HP all in one scanner and VIOLA! It is so easy and incredibly fun to use, scan, save, and do basically whatever I need to do. If I would have realized this, I would have done this months ago when I bought it. If there's one thing HP got right, it was the ease of use on their products.

I'm glad I could share this drawing with everyone who frequents this blog. It is a drawing that demonstrates one of the many special abilities that helps me realize everyday why I love my wife so very much.

To my wife, I raise my cup in homage to your ever expanding talents that you love to hide from the world. May we all be as modest as you are, while carrying a smile that warms the heart, always welcoming back those that have fallen by the wayside on this journey we call life. Me :)

- STORY -

It's been one week since I posted the Prologue, so
here's Chapter One - I hope you enjoy! :)

- VANDER'S DESTINY -

Brother's Keeper - Chapter One

Every year at summer's eve there was a festival the like you would only see once a year. Caravan's full of travelers from the North and South alike as well as Goblin merchants from the dark parts of the world came to the fairgrounds to peddle their wares. The fairgrounds were just outside the King's castle walls, so as to allow patrols to keep a close watch on all the visitors. This was a free kingdom and had a good king, which always is accompanied by supervision and careful detail to the ongoings of the kingdom.

This summer's eve celebration was special to Vander, because his older brother Phillip had specially invited him to come watch the Ceremony of Valor, where Phillip was to be recognized for his prowess with a sword. "I want you to come and see me get this medal", Phillip had said. "And I want you to meet some of my friends from the monestary, since you'll be going there at the end of the summer."

Phillip had spent the majority of his free time at the monestary dueling with other students, challenging the teachers, and practicing on stuffed dummies when no one was around to help him hone his skills. This ontop of his Monestary combat classes was a huge strain...physically, mentally, and emotionally...and still he had found time to include Vander, making him feel the most special a brother in the world could feel.

You see, Vanders Mother was deeply concerned about his health, he being so sickly at times. But even moreso she feared for the health of his heart. Doctor's had been by to help, and could provide nothing to strengthen this young boy. The Paladin's of Legend that patrolled the lands had exercized all the faith they could, which said a lot...but alas it was a weakness that the Gods had destined to either consume this young lad, or perhaps it would become a strength somehow.

"Phillip please find a way to include your brother with what you do and with your friends." She had pleaded with him more then one time. "You know the other kids pick on him. He desperately needs a friend."

Each time she had brought this up, Phillips brow creased with too many years showing on his nineteen year old face. He wanted to tell her things like He isn't old enough, or bringing my tag along brother ruins the fun, or even sometimes he felt - you always ask me to think of him, but what about my fun? what about my friends? This last thought of course was moot, because Phillip was well liked by most and especially among the girls. He would find as he wandered the monestary that certain girls he had classes with would peek around the corner of a hall smiling sweetly at him. He had a disarming smile, which made him easy to get along with... no, Phillip was never in danger of losing his popularity.

Instead of voicing any of his thoughts, each time Phillip would lower his head a bit and say "I'll do my best Mother." And he really would do his best, of this his Mother was sure. At hearing this, she would smile, hug him tightly, and bustle off to get the house clean, or to start cooking a warm meal tha twould match the warmth she was feeling in her heart.

One day Vander, you will be in a position to help me...and I just hope that I've been a good enough brother for you to return the favor, Phillip thought as he raced off to get ready for the ceremony.

What Phillip didn't realize was, that Vander could never have had a better brother. He had never once raised his hand against him, he had tried to include him as much as possible...he had earned his place in Vander's heart as a true Hero. Not many nineteen year olds could be considered a Hero, but in this case, Phillip was one through and through. He was not perfect, as he would tell you at the drop of a pin, but he was a good person down to the very core of his soul.

Complexes do have negative impacts on the very threads of our lives, but in the end the things we do whether compelled or not which are Good and Kind, will always be met out in the end with rewards which befit the deeds we have done. Phillip could never have guessed as he was approaching adulthood, that he would ever need Vander more then Vander now needed his kindness.

Now where were we? Oh yes, back to the festival. There were many booths which littered the King's fairgrounds which had many yummy treats. Bubble candies which changed shape and flavor as you ate them, enchanted chocolate lions which would follow you roaring a tiny roar which befitted their ten inch size, as well as mini figurines made of hardened cakes that were made in the likeness of the leaders of the monestary. Little bread Paladins would charge on their horses and do battle with the bread Priests and Clerics of the monestary.

Vendors had carts full, of practice swords and shields and armors that would fit a child, as this was one of the best selling wares during the festival. How the children that attended wished to be a righteous and powerful paladin, or a penitent and dangerous priest. These children needed heroes much as Vander did...and in these times these Heroes meant hope, and a chance to live with much merrymaking and contentment.
It was so much fun, and not cheap by any means. Both Phillip and Vander had been given Silver pieces as their festival allowance which their Mother had been saving for them secretly all year long. Money was very scarce in their family, but the festival only happened once a year.

---------------------------------------------

The celebration went as planned, with a joyous feeling of merriment. A few of the drunken townsmen had to be taken to the jails to wait out their sour moods. There was a light breeze that blew past the ceremony, giving relief from the oncoming summer sun. But all in all it was a peaceful occasion.

When the medals were presented, Phillip's family and friends cheered the loudest. Vander's throat was so very sore the next morning. He had yelled his hardest, because his brother was the best at swords at the monestary academy, and everyone should know it! He had wanted Phillip to hear him so bad, that tears had come to his eyes from yelling so loud. Phillip smiled at his family, an intense feeling of love emanated from him, warming their hearts.

After the celebration ended, it was time to go home. Phillip went back to the monestary to finish packing his things, so he could come home and enjoy the summer...after all, if he had earned one thing, it was to relax this year, as next year would be even more rigorous learning and training.

Vander held his Mother's arm with his Father on the other side as the three of them went home. What an amazing day that had been! He thought to himself. If you had seen the smile on his face, you could tell that his worries were miles and miles away. This was definitely a perfect day!

STAY TUNED FOR NEXT WEEK 11/16/05 when I release the Second Chapter! :)

- WORK - Nursing Homes

Working as a Nurse Assistant is NOT a pleasant job. You get to clean up puke, poop, pee, blood, tube feeding, and pretty much every other unpleasant thing you can think of. Why am I doing it? For the experience AND for the end goal. My RN Degree.

Nothing unpleasant is worth it, if you will never get something better. It's like sacrificing for something less than what you are giving up....it just doesn't work that way. Don't get me wrong. this line of work has it's rewards...it is great to see an old person smile at you when you know they've had a bad day. And it's not like I'm finding these people Ink Cartridges...ugh...retail.... I HATE RETAIL!

Sorry had to get that out for the day. Of the two years I spent at Office Depot...I did have a few times where I enjoyed my customers and enjoyed helping them out. But these are things that they could easily do for themselves if they decided to learn how to do them. Finding your own ink cartridge does suck, but it's not rocket science. Changing bedpans and bed dressings is not rocket science, but these people can't do it for themselves. Most are so pitifully bound up that their muscles are completely constricted. Some can't talk to you and the only thing you can find out, is it they'll smile at you. A few of them are so seemingly comatose that the first time you go to their bedside you are afraid they will suddenly jump up and start strangling you(like a horror movie.) But in the end I leave there, not worrying one Iota of what happens after I leave, but knowing that I helped someone to have less pain...and that's rewarding to me.

There's also humor, like last night. I was the only Nurse Aid on the floor because the other one was on lunch, and the Charge Nurse was outside getting a bit of fresh air. Then suddenly this hulking old man walks up and tries to go outside. I ask him politely to come back inside, and he tells me that I shouldn't follow him around like a little dog, and then threatens to punch me. Then another lady who is losing her mind, starts playing the piano at two in the morning. Lastly there's another resident passed out in one of our recliners...IT WAS LIKE NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD! :) I had a good laugh afterwards, but geez.

If I can find a program to start taking my LPN Classes Immediately I will. But if not I'll have to wait until next August, which may drive me crazy...but in the end it will be worth it. I honestly believe that sacrifice brings forth blessings, but I also believe that it only will bless you with what you still have intact. Going insane won't help anything, but pushing to the limit on the other hand without falling over...that's the goal :)

- TV - THE O.C.

I just got done watching the fifth episode of the third season and this series is starting to really give me some questions. I think that Jeri Ryan's character is "bleh" and I'm curious to see if they kill her off or do something to get rid of her. Ryan, Seth, and Summer all go to Harbor High again, but Marissa is still stuck in the Mucky Muck that is known as public school. As is in the previews for next weeks O.C. episode there is once again problems for Ryan and Merissa. (Cue the bitter sweet music)

While I DO love this show, and am a very faithful fan, and I really can't ever remember NOT enjoying this show NO Matter how much I hated Oliver (he played his role well) I still wonder what they will do to keep the show alive and well loved.

Tre' is gone to Vegas and I'm sure will be a recurring special guest, Jimmy Cooper seems to be gone for a LONG time before coming back, seeing as he almost died a few episodes back, because he still SUCKS when it comes to finances, the Dean is leaving now that he and Taylor Townsend came out(thanks to Seth and Summer.) Caleb Nickle is dead, so he isn't coming back obviously. I wouldn't mind it if they gave Luke another recurring role, but what would bring Luke back?? The Nana has been played well and appropriately(I can only take so much of the Nana), and I definitely can always use a good Chrismakkah story. We KNOW that Theresa will be coming back, seeing as she HAD Ryan's kid and he doesn't even know he's a Father. I really want them to bring Anna back somehow, as she was one of my favorites from the first season. I guess we'll just have to see what they have in store for us.

The interaction between Ryan and Sandy Cohen, was what sucked me right into the show in the first place. It was a great story, this troubled kid getting a helping hand when he needed it the most...an against all odds storyline. I still love it.

I have faith that they will find SOMETHING huge this season or at the beginning of next season to keep me rooted in front of the Tube on Thursday nights. What I'm guessing is that they will continue to test out "Special Guest" stars until they find another character that they will keep for a while. If I remember right, both Summer, Caleb, and Julie Cooper were all on test trial basis when the show started, and they all have done quite well with themselves.

I guess I'll have to come to terms with the fact that, the first season was THE BOMB, and it may never get as good again as it was when we first layed eyes on those fantastic four, but rest assured I'll keep watching. It's a great show in a sea of mediocre shows.

My last thought on this is...how are they going to handle college next year? :)

- GAMES -

- World of Warcraft : The Burning Crusade -

Anyone know really knows me, knows that there is one game company and one game made by them that stands heads taller then the competition. Blizzard...and of course World of Warcraft. One can argue that every game Blizzard has put out has been a huge success, even if you go back to the days of "The Lost Vikings" which in it's day... was a blast to play.

Let me give you a small explanation as to why I "Love" Blizzard as a gaming company. They are tried and true the only game company that will NOT release a game until it feels polished enough to stand the tests of time. Millions STILL play the Starcraft, Diablo, and Warcraft Series each in their own respect quite different and beautifully crafted games.

Blizzard has been known to take upwards of 6 years to develope some of it's games. And with World of Warcraft this was no exception to the rule. You see, I watched with my eyes peeled since the day they announced that the Warcraft Universe would be turned into a new Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game. I bought up every single magazine that even had a teaser one page preview of this game that I knew would not come to fruition for so many years.

Why have this kind of loyalty to Blizzard some may ask? Quality and fun... pure and simple. For anyone who has played the Warcraft Series, you know the beauty of their cinematics, the fun of commanding a diverse assortment of units to battle, and you know the hilarious things that those units would say as you clicked on them over and over. Warcraft III and it's expansion pack The Frozen Throne was the icing on the cake in this Blizzard compendium of games. Yes I enjoyed the Diablo Series to a certain extent...yes I enjoyed Starcraft which to some is arguably the greatest Real Time Strategy game of all time. But something happened to me, the first time I took and controlled a Paladin by the name of Arthas...something clicked inside me just in the way it did when an elven ranger unit in Warcraft 2 said to me "I live to serve" which just gave.. me.. chills.

...then World of Warcraft finally released almost 6 years after I had seen it appear on "games in development". You see, Blizzard is a company full of employees who enjoy one thing above all others... they love to game. They had played Everquest, Asheron's Call, Dark Age of Camelot, Star Wars Galaxies, as well as a few lesser MMO's... then a brilliant idea came to them. Why don't THEY the great game company Blizzard make an MMO that would incorporate the things they "LOVED" about the other games, with their own Warcraft Storyline(which by this time was quite robust) and leave out most of the stuff they "HATED" passionately about those other games, leaving... well a really fun game.

It was fun. So fun, that they have sold to date over 4 MILLION copies in just under a years time. These numbers confirmed what I had known for years...that whatever Blizzard touches becomes gold.

World of Warcraft lets you choose to play a Paladin, Priest, Mage, Shaman, Druid, Hunter, Warrior, Warlock, and Rogue. Certain classes can only be played by certain races which consist of Humans, Night Elves, Dwarves, and Gnomes for the Alliance...and Orcs, Trolls, Tauren, and the Undead for the Horde. These classes AND races by all rights are really fun to control and embark on journeys of valor, deception, war, craftsmanship, and anything else you can put your mind on.

The world is alive, breathing, and watching your every move. It has the best artwork I've ever seen in a game, and makes you feel epic from the first time you venture into your starting areas. Each aspect of the game is just plain FUN. The possiblities are endless, and unlike any other MMO...World of Warcraft could easily last 10 years, which is very hard for an MMO to have such a long lifecycle.

You can read up on a mountain of World of Warcraft information if you are interested at:

www.worldofwarcraft.com

Recently at Blizzcon, which is Blizzards new Gaming Convention there were 2 movies that were made by players of World of Warcraft that really stood out.

Return was the first-a serious drama found here : http://www.rufuscubed.com/return

and Zinwrath, which is a comedy : http://www.dementiastudio.com

Both Return and Zinwrath were superb, created using the WoW gameworld.

Now we come to the new expansion The Burning Crusade. They just announced this expansion at Blizzcon, and there is only "Some" information available. They have added for the Horde side, a new playable Race the Blood Elves. The Alliance will get a new playable race with this expansion as well, but for now there is not a peep as to what it really is. Blizzard has been insanely closed lipped about it, and there is mountains of speculation by the World of Warcraft Community as to what it will be. With these new Races, there will be new starting areas as well as advanced areas, dungeons, new armor, weapons, and every other thing imaginable that will keep players frothing at the mouth.

You can download the Blizzcon Preview of The Burning Crusade Expansion Pack Here:
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/burningcrusade/

I for one, am really excited about it. For now I'm focusing on Finishing my CNA Certification and soon will be enrolling in College for my LPN and then RN Nursing degrees. The beautiful thing in regards to the time involved with my family, College, and whatever else takes my time and the WoW game... you can be sure that Blizzard will take all the time they need to polish this new expansion as well as all the rest of the content they have already released. It could very well be NEXT Christmas before we see The Burning Crusade hit store shelves. This makes me very happy...as with the constraints of life, this game has a long time left, which will give me time to still enjoy it... just because I can't play it now, will make it just that much sweeter for when I get to play it in the future.

To Blizzard, my hats off to ya. You've truly made a Virtual World that I would love to jump into any day of the week.

- STORY -

I have decided to allow postings on each blog...which I will just have to monitor for the sillyness and spam that has become so prevailent.

I am happy to bring you the first small part of Vander's Destiny. It is a story that has been forming in my head for the last year. I hope you enjoy it. Weekly installments as further chapters are written will be posted here as well.

- VANDER'S DESTINY -

Prologue -Pains of Youth-

A small boy sat atop a thatchwork hut. His small bone structure and lack of nourishment gave him the look of someone 5 years younger then he was. His grey eyes were the only remarkable feature about him, as they were the cool grey of a foggy day, which the sun does not penetrate. Chewing on a straw from the very roof he was sitting on, his brow creased as he was deep in thought. The sun dropped slowly into the hills, signaling the end of the long summer day.

His thoughts grew dark, and dark they were... for you see a boy of the age of 15 was considered to be "of age" in these hard times, and soon Vander would be sent to the monastery to learn, grow, and become a man. He did not want to leave his family that he loved tenderly and go learn about being a boring adult. This simply was not a fun idea, and it caused him great pains of anxiety in his stomach, every time he thought of it. His Elder Brother Phillip had gone to the monastery before him, which meant he'd have one family member there, but still it pained him so. His one place of happiness from this mean and hurtful world, was his home.

His Mother had loved him so much, and had always held him when lonely feelings seemed to ebb into his little brain. Many nights he lay in her arms as she sat by the fire, rocking him to sleep. Too many times he had tried to play with Phillip and the other children of the town in days now past, and had been hurt...because of his small stature. It wasn't fun to always lose either, because no one likes to play with no hope of winning.

Oh they played many games in those days and times. Usually it had to do with a persons strength, like stone throwing, or boulder hopping, which required an advanced level of agility. Simple games they were, and the time that passed playing these games was worth the humiliation of being the smallest. I wish I was ten feet tall! Vander thought with a grin. Then all the mean kids in town would be sorry...because I would win all the games...and then I'd squish em flat for being so mean!

His grin slowly changed into a frown as he remembered something painful from just a few days ago. Earlier in the week, a boy named Grazier had knocked him to the ground, causing his hands to hurt so badly, as they had scraped on the rough cobblestones that paved a small road that wound through town, and eventually monasteryMonestary courtyard. But what hurt the most, was when Grazier had punched him in the nose, causing blood to drip from his face as the other kids pointed and jeered.

Frustration overwhelmed him, causing tears to come to his eyes. Boulderous drops came crashing down into his arms, as the sobs racked his little body. He just couldn't understand why everything seemed to go wrong for him.
These were selfish thoughts, Vander knew...but he just couldn't stop thinking, Why do they always pick on me?

The other children in school were products of very little to do and not enough discipline. But what could the townspeople do? It wasn't as if they could afford to pay others to watch their children. And the countless hours working in their own fields, or perhaps the King's stables, or the local smithery, really didn't allow these parents much time to look after their own. That is, assuming the parents cared enough to do anything.

It was common knowledge that Grazier's Father was a drunk, and at night, if he ever caught Grazier, would beat him soundly before passing out at the Tavern known as "Pierrow's Wedge", which was located on the edge of town. Many of the children were also neglected and abused in a like manner, and it would take a miracle for someone as small as Vander was to make it past the next few years alive.

Vander wiped his face on a piece of sleeve that was often soaked by sad bouts like the one he just had been through. Slowly he edged his way over to the side of the house and climbed down a ladder his father had made. The sun now gone, the birds had stopped their chirping, and it was finally time to drop into the realm of sleep, where his painful world seemed to disappear... a small comfort for such a small boy.

- ANIME -

-Bleach-

As November starts, I wanted to share my views on a piece of entertainment that is known as Anime. And of these countless anime's that have been created, there has only been one that has caught my attention in such a way, that I am a loyal fan, and will be for a very very long time.

The Storyline of Bleach starts with a 15 year old guy who can see ghosts. He goes to school at the local Jr. High and is about to Graduate into High School...If someone had told me that was how it started, which is a tad cliche, I would have never started watching.

He sees Rukia Kuchiki, who is a "Death God" - which is a spirit form person who's job is to fight Hollows (spirits who never left the earth and have become corrupted). This Death God is injured and transfers her powers to Ichigo to finish fighting a rather mean Hollow. Ichigo becomes quite adept at killing Hollows, through sheer brute strength, and the fact that his Spirit Sword is about as tall as he is :)

Each and every "main" character from Kurosaki Ichigo, to Orihime have a way of getting you really attached to them personally. This varies from the norm, in that most anime series, I really could care less if ANY of the side characters die, let alone the main ones. When they are threatened you care, when something silly happens, i find myself laughing...and yes...there is a Fantastic Sountrack! From the opening credits, you are bombarded with a well thought out well constructed musical score that toys with your emotions as every "movie" should...and this is just an anime series :)

To say the animation quality is superb would be an understatement. The attention to detail lets your eyes relax and draws you into the environments that Ichigo finds himself in.

Although it is subtitled, as many actually prefer with "non english" anime titles, the voice acting in Japanese only adds to the emotion of what's happening. The truly twisted voices that are used for the "Hollow's" gives me the creeps...not in the way "The Ring" did, more like how I felt about the aliens in "Pitch Black", where you hate the Hollows, but still respect their power. Ichigo also conveys a very real sense of Determination and Anger when fighting what would threaten to hurt his family.

Just when you thought the story could start getting boring the farther you get, (as most anime series get)the creators explain more and more about "Soul Society" and also the truth of Ichigo's Spirit Power. You then also see struggling characters that felt weak earlier in the series, find that they too can help to fight evil and grow in strength, making each one from Chad, Yuzu(Ichigo's sister), and Orihime into formidible foes to the threatening Hollows. They just keep reinventing and making fresh episodes of Bleach.

Anyone who has not seen Bleach and enjoys anime of any sort, is missing out. The website that I get them from, which is completely legal I might add, is:

http://animepsp.luminpro.com/torrents

for information on torrent downloads see

http://bittorrent.com

these are in the MP4 format which is Sony PSP(very small format) standard(which Quicktime plays on your PC), but if you'd like the episodes in regular format you can get them from most torrent sites.

Here is a brief introduction of Bleach found on the AnimePSP website

"Kurosaki Ichigo has the uncanny ability to see spirits. In fact, it seems to run in his family. But Ichigo's powers seem to dwarf the powers of anyone around him. This comes in handy when a god of death named Kuchiki Rukia enters his life... and changes it forever!"

Currently there are in circulation 55 episodes, and it just keeps growing in popularity. I for one, hope to share and enjoy Ichigo's adventures.
